With London’s West End still largely closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, aqua shard brings the theatre to its guests with this dramatic Christmas tree design.

Lamp & Pencil worked closely with the designer Soutra Gilmour, lighting designer Jon Clark, Souvenir Scenic Studios, Marcus Hall Props & Miraculous Engineering to deliver this stunning dose of Christmas spirit to the 31st floor of the Shard. Made up of 1,000 paintbrushes, the show-stopping tree has been created as a celebration of the craftspeople behind the scenes of London’s celebrated theatre industry. At night the tree is clearly visible from the Tower of London and surrounding areas.
