In order to ensure that the show will always go on at the Royal Opera House during major rebuilding works in close proximity to key lighting control communication routes the network needed a significant redesign. By installing additional fibres using new routes through the building and reconfiguring the network a self-healing system has been created.

In addition to the increased resilience, we also installed one hundred additional switch ports and extended the physical reach of the dedicated network with a kilometre of fibre and cat6 cable.
