The internationally recognised storytelling theatre company Tall Stories have partnered with Islington Council to turn an unused corner of Islington Central Library into a storytelling hub comprising administrative spaces, meeting areas and a large studio space suitable for rehearsals and performances for an audience of up to 80.

Lamp & Pencil was part of the team of expert contractors brought in by Gary Beeston Events & Theatre to deliver a first class studio which will allow the Tall Stories team to continue to develop & deliver exceptional events. The performance lighting system provided by Lamp & Pencil allows for daily operation by any of the Tall Stories staff whilst still retaining the flexibility for technical teams to deliver complex production lighting when required. As well as fixtures & cabling, Lamp & Pencil provided ETC ColorSource power control and all of the other necessary items between the electrical supply and light leaving the fixtures. Connections at truss level are made using our Socapex installation boxes.
